Scanfeld uses FTIR spectroscopy to analyze and quantify gases from up to 1 km away. The system is designed to detect small leaks and map leaking components for easier maintenance planning. The sensor units work like surveillance cameras for gases, continuously scanning and displaying data in a multi-view user interface. The FTIR spectroscopy technology provides highly reliable gas identification, even in the presence of dust or water vapor. The solution continuously watches for both fugitive and non-fugitive gas emissions, with real-time modules to quickly alert operators. Autonomous monitoring provides more frequent and efficient leak detection, covering more components than manual inspections.
